Denomination

United Christian Church is a member church of the Maine Conference of the United Church of Christ. We are a member of the Sunrise Association of the Maine Conference, UCC consisting of Hancock, Waldo, and Washington counties.

The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a distinct and diverse community of Christians that come together as one church to join faith and action. With over 5,000 churches and nearly one million members across the U.S., the UCC serves God in the co-creation of a just and sustainable world.

The Maine Conference UCC is home to over 150 congregations spread out across the state of Maine who gather to celebrate, express, and discover our faith.
